Star Wars The Old Republic – Star Wars The Old Republic outlines its major update 7.5

SWTOR's major update 7.5 will be deployed soon on the MMO's test servers. Until then, the Broadsword Online studio is outlining the content of the update, its narrative framework or the addition of a solo adventure.

Alongside regular minor patches, Star Wars The Old Republic is also occasionally enriched with major updates, more ambitious and advancing the narrative of the MMO. The deployment date for the next of these major updates (version 7.5) has not yet been announced, but it will be revealed very soon on the MMO's test servers (probably next week) and by then , the developer Broadsword Online Games already sketching out the content.

Continuing the SWTOR narrative

Quite classically, the update initiates a new chapter, “Desperate Challenge”, which continues the story of SWTOR. At the end of update 7.4, Padawan Sa'har Kateen asked for players' help to recover the holocron from the Temple of Darth Nul, in particular to ensure that it did not fall into the hands of the Mandalorian Heta Kol. Players and Sa'har aim to continue their collaboration with update 7.5 in order to learn more about Heta's plans. Sa'har will be able to support the player over the long term, who will then be able to contribute to his orientation.

The plot will once again take players to Hutta, in the Minboosa district – where a workers' insurrection is raging. According to the developer, players will “take care of the owner and honest businessman, Yusinduu the Hutt”. Note that Hutta will also be subject to a graphics update.

A first solo adventure

Update 7.5 will also be marked by the addition of a “first solo adventure, Ventures “. According to the developer, “ Such solo adventures will be added to the game and will give players a hard time, starting with the Basilisk prototype. This adventure ties directly into the ongoing story with Lane Vizla and centers around the training of the prototype Basilisk B3-S1, also known as Bessie. This prototype can become a partner for players, and be used for a limited time. For B3-S1 to become a permanent partner, you will need to gradually train him to develop his full potential and combat abilities “.

Star Wars The Old Republic 7.5

The studio Broadsword Online also imagines pacifist activities for Star Wars The Old Republic, starting with the possibility of practicing agriculture on Dantooine. Players will get a plot of land thanks to “a deal that almost seems too good to be true.” At the same time, a “Spring Abundance Festival” will allow participants to participate in various activities “such as seed collecting, dancing, pie baking, animal rehabilitation and a galactic egg hunt.”
