On the official website, those responsible at Insomniac Games pointed out that the next update for “Marvel's Spider-Man 2” is now available for download.

The patch updates the action title to version “1.002.003” and, according to officials, fixes an annoying bug in the New Game Plus mode. We're talking about the bug that could cause the game to ask you to start a new game instead of being able to continue your New Game Plus score.

According to Insomniac Games, the error that caused your game status to not be displayed correctly after the update to version “1.002.000” is a thing of the past. Further bug fixes affect the suits, the game itself and the occasional crashes that players have recently complained about.

Attached is the complete changelog for the newly released patch.
