A next-gen patch that created quite a mess on Fallout 4!
As we just told you, a few days ago, Bethesda offered its next-gen patch for Fallout 4. A patch that arrives in the context of the release of the series, which pushed many players to launch or relaunch one of the flagship episodes of the license.
The problem is that players quickly realized that while this patch brought some new features, including new quests, it also brought its share of problems. The biggest thing is that a lot of the mods no longer work.
A hard blow, especially for the developers of the highly anticipated Fallout London, the most ambitious mod in the history of the license, which today finds itself with a dotted future. Beyond even not being able to take advantage of it, many players deplore the fact of no longer being able to use their mods.
On some platforms like GoG, players have the option to revert to the old version, but this is not the case for all platforms and especially not as simple. Fortunately, modders have found a solution to make this much simpler.
A mod to find all the others available before the patch
This solution is nothing other than a mod. So, obviously, it will not be accessible to console players. Except that the now incompatible mods were not basic either. To install it, the easiest way is to go to Nexus Mod.
Click on this link which takes you directly to the Fallout 4 Downgrader page and download it. Then extract the files and run “Downgrade by patching files.bat”. Wait a few seconds for the program to run.
Once this is done, the latter will be responsible for reverting the version of the game to the current one just before the next-gen patch is deployed. You will then be able to enjoy again all the mods that worked before the update.
