Registration for technical test started on PC

According to the developers at Supergiant Games, Early Access for “Hades 2” won’t be long in coming. Before that, there is still a technical test that you can now register for on your PC.

The successor to the roguelike hit “Hades” was Announced at the Game Awards in 2022. This year, “Hades 2” with Melinoe, the immortal princess of the underworld, is scheduled to appear in Early Access on Steam.

As the developers at Supergiant Games recently announced, interested players can now register for the technical test on the platform. Users can help the team solve technical problems beforehand Start of Early Access identify and help resolve them.

Developers ask players for help

Registration for the technical test is now available on the “Hades 2” store page on Steam. Anyone interested just has to press the button provided and they will be added to the pool of players who hope to be selected for the test.

As the developers write, they expect to start with a small number of players and expand the technical test over time. So anyone who isn't selected now has the chance to try out “Hades 2” in the coming weeks.



How long does the test last?

In the test phase that will start soon, players will have less content available than will be the case in Early Access, according to Supergiant Games. How long the technical test will last is not yet known. However, the developers assume that testing will be “longer than a week, shorter than a month”. The start of Early Access will then be adjusted to the length of the technical test.

In “Hades 2” players take on the role of Melinoe, who fights her way through the underworld of Greek legends using weapons and witchcraft. With the help of the power of Olympus, the heroine defeats the Titan's minions and meets new people on her journey “Hades” familiar faces.
