This Tuesday morning, Sony Interactive Entertainment presented the latest titles which subscribers of the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers can now download and play at no additional cost.
In addition, the PlayStation Store shows which extra or premium titles will have to go next month. This time there are a whole handful of “Final Fantasy” adventures. These include the technically slightly polished versions of “Final Fantasy 7”, “Final Fantasy 8” and “Final Fantasy 9”.
The role-playing games “Ashen” and “Elex” as well as the indie hits “Abzu” and “The Artful Escape” also have to go. The following overview will tell you which other games Sony Interactive Entertainment is removing next month.

What's next for PlayStation Plus?
With today's activation of the new extra and premium titles, the PlayStation Plus month of April 2024 is in principle completed. We continue with the official unveiling of the Essential new additions for May 2024.
These will be announced on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 and activated on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024.
Sony Interactive Entertainment will present the new extra and premium games for the next month on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Here too, activation takes place on the following Tuesday. In this case, May 21, 2024.
While the announcements usually arrive at 5:30 p.m. our time, Sony Interactive Entertainment usually makes the activations around 11 a.m. in the morning.
