It's now been eight years since we heard about the premiere of Lost Soul Aside. Developed by the Chinese studio UltiZero Games, this title for the PS5 and PC has since each reappearance shown itself to be more and more promising. He has recently been in the news again, and his release could finally be near.

The PS5 is putting another console exclusive aside
Chinese games definitely have a long history. In addition to the highly anticipated Black Myth: Wukong which we have heard about for years, this is also the case for Lost Soul Aside. This was first announced in 2016 as an independent project. Sony claimed exclusivity, and the game was due to be released in 2018 on PS4. Six years later, the action-RPG developed by UltiZero Games finally seems to be nearing the end of its development. In fact, it will now be released instead on PS5, as well as on PC.
In any case, this is what we can predict, since Lost Soul Aside has been subject to an age rating in China. The competent authority has therefore given him the green light to release whenever he wants on PC and PS5. According to expert analyst Daniel Ahmad, its launch would now be closer than ever, at least in its native country. “ At least in the next three months “, he believes. We can bet that this will also be the case for the rest of the world.
A promising action-RPG, or a counterfeit?
After years of development for the Chinese PS5 console exclusive, Lost Soul Aside showed off its gameplay last summer. We were able to see the game in action for a good twenty minutes. The result then appeared to be rather engaging. The UltiZero Games title in any case claimed quite prestigious influences. It is indeed difficult not to see obvious links with Devil May Cry in its gameplay and Final Fantasy in its artistic direction.
Will the action-RPG on paper be promising and in principle expected soon on PS5 and PC however manage to make its own hole in the video game landscape?
