As usual on the first Tuesday of a new month, the obligatory new additions to the PlayStation Plus Essential tier were activated today. A total of four games are waiting for you in May 2024.

Things get sporty thanks to Electronic Arts' football simulation “EA Sports FC 24”. With the virtual kick you can bridge the approaching summer break of the European professional leagues and also get in the mood for the approaching UEFA Euro 2024. If, on the other hand, you're looking for some solid action with a tough level of difficulty, then One More Levels “Ghostrunner 2” is the right choice for you.

The finale of the PS Plus Essential line-up in May 2024 will be the indie hit “Tunic” and Bungie’s “Destiny 2: Lightfall”. Here is an overview of all the new releases of the month.

Today's activation of the Essential new additions is of course far from over. We continue with the official unveiling of the May titles for the Extra and Premium levels. This will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at around 5:30 p.m. our time.

The new extra and premium titles for the month of May 2024 will be activated on the following Tuesday around 11 a.m. In this case that would be May 21, 2024.
