The latest trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio, titled “The King's Trial”, offers a captivating glimpse into the game's fantasy world. At the heart of the plot is a tournament for the king's throne, where players and their allies embark on trials across the lands to prove their worth. The Atlus studio known for being behind the famous Persona saga also reveals the release date of its new title scheduled for October 11, 2024 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S. Additionally, additional information was revealed by Katsura Hashino, the game's director, in a 25-minute presentation video.

Here's what's new: Metaphor: ReFantazio draws inspiration from the famous Persona series, with innovative and captivating game mechanics. Combat, both real-time and turn-based, provides a dynamic and strategic experience for players. Additionally, the game introduces a time management system similar to Persona, where players must plan their actions carefully to complete their goals within the time limit.

The profession system or “Archetypes” offers players a variety of skills and playstyles to explore, allowing you to customize your experience based on their preferences. This depth of gameplay guarantees great replayability and invites players to discover new strategies and combinations throughout their adventure.

With Metaphor: ReFantazio players will travel! The game features a variety of environments, from small rural towns to wastelands, providing rich and diverse exploration. You will be able to engage in activities such as bounty hunting and discover hidden secrets. Moreover, still in the vein of what Persona offers, it will be possible to create links with various characters in order to unlock new skills and gameplay options. The game is not yet available for pre-order. However, it will be available very soon at a price of €70 for the classic version and €150 for the collector's edition.
