“Vampire Survivors” received the 1.9 patch, the first content update of the year, in February, but at the indie game showcase “The Triple-i Initiative 2024: A New Gaming Showcase” that started broadcasting a while ago, the book was announced. It has been announced that the game will be compatible with PS5/PS4, and it has been revealed that it is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2024.
In addition, a collaboration DLC with Konami's action shooting game “Contra” called “Operation Guns” was announced, and it is scheduled to be released for Xbox, Steam, Nintendo Switch, and mobile on May 9, 2024. (PS version will also be released at a later date)

Operation Guns incorporates the simplicity of classic Contra, with build-oriented characters that encourage min-maxing and stat manipulation, a wide variety of weapons (22 types including evolutions!), and the hard gameplay you'd expect from an arcade. The difficulty level is a fusion of Vampire Survivors and Vampire Survivors style.

- Bill Riser – A big guy with a big gun bent on revenge against the alien threat. Likes: Action movies, large caliber bullets. Dislikes: Cryogenic coffins, space creatures.
- Lance Bean – Known for his aggressive attacks, always stocked with dyed hair, and a mind as great as his muscles, Lance is also responsible for creating the Contra Force's strange new weapon.
- Ariana – Ariana is forced to defend her home in the Garuga Jungle from a rebel force of Red Falcons. She is an expert at evasive maneuvers, turning her movement speed into additional defensive power.
- Lucia – Clone? cyborg? Is he the fearsome being of Tabula Rasa, trained by Team Contra to become the perfect warrior? Although her past is shrouded in mystery, her lethal prowess on the battlefield is well known.
- Blood Fang – The product of twisted genetics and cutting-edge cyber technology, Blood Fang is half-human, half-wolf, half-robot, and 150% super-soldier.
- Brownie – Designed as a robot for all kinds of battles, there's a strange bug (or quirk) in Brownie's programming that makes this little droid obsessed with parties. Fortunately, this unfortunate coding error does not hinder Brownie's genius fighting abilities.
- Sheena Etranzi – A guerrilla combat genius who is particularly adept at jungle combat and all kinds of experimental weapons. She is a true survivor and excels at overcoming impossible odds.
- Probotector – A super-advanced reconnaissance robot programmed to protect humans in hostile environments. This RD009 Probotector model can be converted into offensive power for many modular weapons by increasing its defensive power.

Arm yourself with Contra Force's cutting-edge weaponry, including near-homing missiles, an array of high-tech bazookas, and the trusty spread shot.
