The developers at Gameloft announced the next extensive content update today under the name “Excitement & Ruffles”. This will be released on May 1, 2024 around 3 p.m. and includes both free content for the main game and content replenishment for the expansion pass called “A Rift in Time”.
One of the highlights of the “Excitement & Frills” update is certainly a new resident for the valley. We're talking about Daisy Duck, who tempts us with new friendship tasks. Unsurprisingly, the tasks revolve around topics such as creativity and your fashion sense.
New designs and improvements for multiplayer
If you manage to get Daisy's Boutique back up and running, you'll be able to sell the designs you created with A Touch of Magic, buy new items, or encourage your friends to view or purchase your creations. You can also take on Daisy’s weekly challenges in the boutique and unlock exclusive rewards.
Another component of the May update are various quality of life improvements. Here the developers pay particular attention to the camera tool. For example, you can now take photos while sitting on one of the Disney rides in your village.

Further innovations concern the multiplayer mode. In addition to taking selfies together, the May update lets you enjoy activities like fishing, gardening, mining, cooking, or crafting new items together.
A second well-known newcomer is waiting
Fans of the star path will also get their money's worth in the May update. New attractions such as the “Alien Swirling Saucers” and the “Magic Carpets of Aladdin” attract visitors here. In addition, new attractions, special clothing items and dream styles for Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse are waiting for you in the Star Trail.
Owners of the “A Rift in Time” expansion pass will receive Act 2 “The Spark of Imagination” as part of the May update. Not only a reunion with the funny rabbit Oswald awaits here. At the same time, Gameloft calls on you to get to the bottom of the secrets of the Isle of Eternity.
Anyone who successfully faces this challenge will be rewarded with an improvement to the stately hourglass, which in turn can be used to unlock decorations and other figures for the coin hunt.
