You will find the entrance to this crucible south of Marépine. But the passage is invaded by lianas. So you will have to find another way. To do this, head towards the waterfall not far away and climb the wall to find a new entrance, just behind the waterfall.

Once inside, follow the only possible path until you reach the location where you can rappel down. At the bottom, you will arrive in a half-flooded room, facing a blocked door.
Head to the right and break the triangular window to reach a corridor. At the end of it, use your grappling hook to grab the battery module in front of you and shoot. This will free up a passage for you to climb. Climb onto the platform then hack the door to the crucible.
In the next room, several looters await you. Start by eliminating all the machines then use your grappling hook again to shoot all the battery modules within your reach. Then collect the blue box from the machine and place it so that you can reach the climbing holds that you have just freed.
Climb up following the different holds on your right then once at the top, shoot the last battery module, too high to be reached so far. This done, you can now climb to the upper level.

Move forward in the corridor until you find a large room where there is a Frost Claw as well as other smaller machines. Eliminate them all before approaching the crafting arm in the center of the room.
Then use your grappling hook to point the arm towards the north. Climb the arm to reach the platform then hack the network link at the end. This will trigger an elevator that will take you down.
You will see in the center of this new room, the core of the crucible. Try to hack it then scan the kernel regulators that appear. You will find one damaged, missing a part. To find her, follow her trail to the wall. You can't climb it yet.
Head to your left and take the passage in the wall to end up coming across a crate. Push the latter just enough so that it partially crosses the force field. Be careful not to get electrocuted. Come out of the passage and collect the crate on the other side. Then move it under the ventilation so you can climb it.
Once at the top, follow the trail of the missing piece again. Take the zip line then use your focus to find the regulator part in the huge pile of parts in the room. Be careful as you will be attacked here again by a Climber who does not appreciate you inspecting his belongings.
Collect the Regulator Part then head to the broken bridge to the west. Drop the part and go to the left to see some new battery modules on the wall. Use your grappling hook to pull them and create a climbing path. Continue until you reach the other side where you can hack the network link.
Once the bridge appears, collect the regulator piece that you placed and progress with it until you reach a new network link to hack. This will cause the force field to disappear. You are back in the room with the manufacturing arm.
Place the regulator part then go down into the room to rotate the arm again using your grappling hook. Face it to the south then place the regulator part on it. Go back down then reorient the arm towards the north. You will probably be attacked by several machines at this time. Eliminate them to continue your task peacefully.
Climb the crafting arm again and collect the regulator part. Then head to the elevator previously used to return to the core room. Insert the component into the core regulator to repair it. A Creeper will then appear. You will obviously have to eliminate it to finally be able to hack the core of the crucible. This will teach you how to hack the following machines: Frostclaw, Red Watcher, Testudian, Climber, Juggernaut, Tracker, Carapest, Longnose, Griller and Fireclaw.
