With the success of the Amazon Prime series, players flocked en masse to Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, the latest two installments of Bethesda's post-apocalyptic license. Yesterday, it was the fourth episode that made the headlines, bringing together – 9 years after its release – more than 187,000 players simultaneously on PC (Steam)! The merciless world of the American firm still has more than one trick up its sleeve, and if the adventure appeals to you, know that it won't be easy. Between radiation, monsters and crazy characters who want you dead, Fallout requires you to be well prepared. That's good, even after recent updates, a bug used to increase stats still works.

Fallout 4 and item multiplication

This bug, apart from the base game, requires the DLC Contraptions Workshop, which allows the player to develop a whole bunch of machines and improve the life of his colony. Among these machines there is the so-called storage conveyor. It is roughly a box that is used to store objects at the end of the line. But, with a little skill, it also allows you to multiply valuable items.

Here's the technique: after turning on the conveyor, place the item in question on the conveyor belt (everyone recommends doing this with the book “You are SPECIAL”, which allows you to increase any statistic by one point). Then wait until the item almost completely disappears into the storage box and then collect it. With the right timing, loot will appear both in the machine's belly and in your inventory, as if miraculously multiplied. By repeating this method a certain number of times and with this book, your character will quickly be at max level!

“Thank you Bethesda.”

“Thank you Bethesda for not having fixed your bugs”, wrote a user on Reddit, three days ago… Obviously, the bug is still present on Fallout 4, even after the recent update in honor of the Amazon Prime series. For the occasion, Bethesda had added quite a few things, including improved resolution (60 frames per second) on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
