Key LucasArts Figure, Contributor to Iconic Star Wars Games, Passes Away

Jeff Keeley, the organizer of The Game Awards, has revealed that Matthew Shell, who was mainly involved in “Star Wars” game works at LucasArts and the Walt Disney Company, has passed away.

It was an essential part of many Star Wars games…

Mr. Shell is a person who belonged to LucasArts and the Walt Disney Company, the rights holders of “Star Wars”, and served as a numerous marketing and production director (note that he is not a game director).

Armed and Dangerous (2003)

After working at a marketing company from 1997 to 2002, he left Sega of America and joined LucasArts in 2003. He was credited as senior marketing coordinator for the original Xbox action TPS Armed and Dangerous (2003), which was full of parodies of movies and games including Star Wars and Lord of the Rings.
