DEATH FOLLOWS YOU EVERYWHERE
Insurmountable is a roguelike adventure game with a final death system in which the player must pass over huge mountains. Thanks to its procedurally generated environment, all your games will be unique.
Make sure your climber stays alive by keeping an eye on their vital signs to prevent them from being in critical condition. A dynamic weather system, a day/night cycle and a multitude of random events will complicate your task and you will never be able to predict what will happen. Absolutely all your decisions matter. Because each of them could be the last.
Choose from three characters with different skills and backgrounds, and attack your first mountain.
Search crates, caves, and ancient ruins to find equipment lost by adventurers before you. You will need it, because even the first mountain will push you to your limits. But don't worry. Over time, you will become stronger and stronger. Take advantage of a sophisticated skill system to determine your climber's strengths.
During each of the three mysterious stories that we will offer you, you will face dangerous animals, you will cross deadly abysses and you will meet sinister and benevolent characters… who will not always be humans. Here again, all your decisions will have an influence on the course of events.
You will have to conquer three mountains to win. Each one higher and deadlier than the last.
Think carefully about how you use your forces and equipment, because there will be no second chances and the path forward will change each time. In Insurmountable, you will have to face unknown dangers, react quickly to unpredictable events and accept that, like real life, you cannot always predict the consequences of your actions… but don't give up, because things might turn out differently than you expect.
