Obtain the Pirate King's Treasure
Red XIII tells you the story of the pirate king, who brought law to the seas of the world Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. His most precious possession was divided into four fragments, hidden in various locations in the Central Ocean and guarded by creatures.
With a map of their locations, it's up to you to get your hands on these fragments. Find below the exact location of the Pirate King's treasure caches as well as some tips for beating the guardian creatures.

Pirate King's Hideout α
The cache is located southeast of the small port of Gongaga, located in the far north of the region. When you land, you face a wrecking Ogre.
This is a fight that you must shorten if you do not want to suffer too much. The longer the fight lasts, the more the ogre roars, until it reaches Total Fury. To avoid getting to this point, overuse ice elemental attacks, such as Extra-Ice. It will then be weakened, which encourages you to continue with the ice since it will increase the Shock gauge more quickly.
Among the attacks of the Wrecker Ogre, we will note Enraged Assault, which makes a series of blows with its club, and Furious Strike, a large sweep carried out in front of it, always using the club.
As soon as the ogre is defeated, climb the wall and open the chest containing the pirate relic α.

Pirate King's Hideout β
The cache is located southeast of Junon. When you dock, you face a hellish Filibuster.
Vulnerable to fire, he especially has a Punishing Posture which should attract all your attention. Once launched, the monster will weaken on its own. From there, you must succeed in inflicting the Shock state on him because, otherwise, he will launch Mega-Gravity which reduces the remaining HP of the affected allies by 4.
Of these moves, Infernal Assault throws a melee combo where there's not much you can do about it if you take the first hit. While taking Punishing Stance, he will use Demonic Guard. By attacking him during this guard, the Infernal Filibuster will retaliate with Riposte Strike. Finally, he also happens to launch Extra-Vent or Extra-Glace.
After defeating the creature, climb the wall next to it and open the chest containing the pirate relic β.
Pirate King's Hideout γ
The cache is located in the northeast of Costa del Sol. When you land, you face a Hueyatlquetzal.
Sensitive to wind attacks, do not hesitate to use spells from this element. This will likely cause Voltaic Wrath, a technique that turns him electric. He then risks stunning you, but attacking him during this form will weaken him. Then insist with Extra-Vent to increase its Shock gauge more quickly.
The monster notably uses Plasma Discharge, an electric projectile thrown in front of it. In Voltaic Wrath mode, Lightning Strike will cause him to fall to the ground for heavy damage. Finally, with Wild Pique, the Hueyatlquetzal charges at you. Make the most of the monster's Shock state knowing that you will probably need to inflict a second Shock on it to overcome it.

Pirate King's Hideout δ
From the previous cache, continue northeast to come across this one. When you land, you face a Sea Dragon.
Vulnerable to lightning, it is especially when he launches Flaming Exhortation that it will be interesting. From there, he will fight back with powerful fire attacks. Throw Toxin or Extra-Toxin at him to remove this status and put him in Fragility. As soon as this is done, invoke as many lightning spells as possible to inflict Shock on him.
As for his attacks, watch out for Volcanic Roar, which triggers an explosion all around him. Hurricane propels you into the air, dealing a lot of damage. Finally the dragon performs a burning sweep with Flame Breath.
At the end of the fight, climb the wall near you to recover the pirate relic δ.
Compass Summary and Rewards
Once all the relics have been collected, go to the game's Summary menu to create the Pirate King's Compass. This allows you to more easily find debris from the pirate king, floating all over the Central Ocean. These debris are actually materials necessary to design the most powerful accessories in the gamesuch as Genji equipment pieces.
Also, the Pirate King's Compass simply serves as an accessory to equip for combat. She adds briefly a third ATB bar when five different commands have been used during combat.
