Every genre, every franchise, every type of player – if Sony implements even half of the PS5 list together with the developers, nothing will stand in the way of the best gaming. But for now we all just have to be patient.

Facebook user Hannes Meyer: “A game in the style of 'Honey, I Shrunk the Children'… but as a soldier. With a cool story and different worlds (jungle, in the sea, desert, etc.).”

So a mix of Microsoft's insect game Grounded and the green plastic soldiers from Army Men? Yes, that sounds very interesting.

Mickey Auer (Deputy Editor): “I know it will remain a pipe dream, but I would love to have a Marvel Gaming Universe. In other words: All licenses are brought together by a large publisher – preferably Sony – and a high-quality gaming universe is created over the years.

Different developers, creative ideas, multiple genres, which then culminate in a big finale before the next storyline is tackled – that's how I imagine it. And all of this under the watchful eye of someone strict quality control“So that all productions are at the quality level of the Spider-Man games and something like Marvel's Avengers can simply never happen again.”

Facebook user David Michael: “A real hardcore shooter. Like Insurgency: Sandstorm. This really isn't available for consoles. I’ve been wondering for years why no one does something like that.”

Tactics, multiplayer, realism – yes, it’s definitely on the list.

Facebook user Boogie Kiba: “An open world Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game, like the Batman Arkham games only in the TMNT universe. TMNT finally needs one great open world game with an incredible story.”

With the formula it almost develops itself, right Rocksteady Studios?

Editor Michael Sonntag: “On the PS5 at the latest, we need a real and independent role-playing game that no longer has to be based on mods and other games. We need a basic game with characters, jobs, needs, cars and weapons that the developer then creates expand further together with the community can.

Now would be the best time to really show what Next Gen means. Not just new console and new graphics, but also completely new possibilities.”

Facebook user Timmy Clark: “They should remake Scarface.”

Good point. Why should only developer Rockstar rule the gangster throne? It's time for more gangster games!

Facebook user Katrin Alexandra Schindler: “A dragon rider MMO where you can burn down villages, kingdoms, etc. with other players and also build them yourself. The dragons have different elements. You would also have to raise them shortly after they hatch from the egg. Epic dogfights with dragons and swords, bows and magic. Been dreaming about something like this for so long! But it will probably never come.”

Facebook user Krone SK: “A reasonable Yu-Gi-Oh open world game based on the rules of Battle City or the first series.”

Facebook user Mike Skubel: A remake of Yu-Gi-Oh: Forbidden Memories! with exactly the rules and not these new bells and whistles.”

We summarize: The PS5 definitely needs a new Yu-Gi-Oh! We'll clarify the details later.

Facebook user André Grübener: “An RPG in Westeros with all the trimmings. It would be great if the first part were set at the time of the Song of Ice and Fire, and the second part as a prequel (…) up to Robert's Rebellion. I think as far as the first part is concerned, it should definitely be possible on the PS5 and it would be an absolute dream.”

Editor Achim Truckes: “Assassin's Creed: World War II – the Hydra threat (well, unfortunately only I dream about that). A Wolfenstein crossover with Evil-BJ Blaskovic would also be possible.”

Daring but interesting. But if Ubisoft is soon running out of eras anyway, an unusually modern scenario could actually bring a breath of fresh air.

Facebook user Sandra Häusler: “A Dino Crisis remake.”

After developer Capcom has already given the good/classic Resident Evil parts a remake, a revival of the famous dino hunt on the PS5 cannot be missed.

We remain excited to see which games will be released for PS5. If even half of the games listed are implemented, it can only be perfect.
