While the launch of Dragon's Dogma II seemed well on its way in view of rather positive reviews coming from the video game press, the release of the game Capcom unfortunately did not go smoothly. Indeed, the studio behind Monster Hunter World and the saga resident Evil (to name just a few) attracted the wrath of the community because of the twenty or so “micro-DLCs” put online on the day of releaseamong which we find items that are quite rare or difficult to obtain in-game, encouraging the most impatient players to pay to obtain them.

Fans made their displeasure known by underrating the game on Steam And Metacriticand even if Capcom does not wish to reverse its decision to offer “micro-DLCs”, the studio has still made some promises which could relieve some players. The developers not only plan to greatly increase the quantities of volumes of Art of Metamorphosis to allow players to change the appearance of their Insurgent more easily, but they also plan to give players the ability to create a new game when save data already exists. But Capcom does not intend to stop there, and is counting on the fans to guide them regarding the future of Dragon's Dogma 2…

A little hope for the future?

Not long ago, Capcom has posted a questionnaire online about the future of Dragon's Dogma 2which you can find at this address and to which you can respond until April 21, 2024. Note that the questions are in English. Each participant will receive a wallpaper as a gift, and will have the opportunity to give his opinion on the title of Capcom. Indeed, in addition to classic questions on the versions and platforms chosen, the questionnaire allows you to note certain aspects of the game individually, such as the work of the voice actors, the best gameplay elements, to what extent the soundtrack marked you, if you have used the character creation tool put online before the launch… But also questions about a DLC potential.

In the first place, Capcom would like to know if the players of Dragon's Dogma 2 would be interested or not in one or more DLCs, but also what price fans would be willing to put into additional content by proposing several price ranges ranging from €9.99 to €50.00.
