If there were indeed several medals at stake to achieve this seemingly impossible objective, it was the simple feeling of revenge that made the flame burn in the hearts of all the soldiers of Super-Earth. While they had 24 hours to succeed in conquering Malevelon Creek and dealing a major blow to the robotic forces, the Helldivers only needed barely 5 hours to succeed in turning the tide and imposing respect in the galaxy . A real tour de force that players will not soon forget.

On the automatons

Following this major feat on the part of Helldivers II players, the Major Order decided to continue this momentum and maintained the Swift Disassembly operation. The latter consisted of pushing the Automatons as far away as possible by attacking all their planets one by one, until they were driven out of the galaxy. Against all odds and with boosted morale after their victory on Malevelon Creek, the armed forces of Super-Earth managed to accomplish this objective and simply eliminated all the Automatons from the galaxy, reducing this faction to nothing. For a few days, it was no longer possible to fight against one of the two factions of the game. But while many were wondering how the developers (and especially Joël, the game master) were going to bounce back, a new surprise attack recently took place.

The victory of the Helldivers over the Automatons was decidedly short-lived. Barely had the players finished celebrating their moment of glory when the robots finally managed to return in force. To everyone's surprise, an immense fleet of Automatons appeared by space jump in another corner of the galaxy, instantly occupying several previously liberated planets. While it is currently impossible to know where this new wave came from and where the Automatons were hidden in the meantime, it is now time for battle. The Major Order has not in fact said its last word, and all Helldivers are currently called upon to counter this new offensive. Good luck to all the soldiers who decide to leave for these new lands.
