Huawei officially open sourced the Ark Compiler (OpenArkCompiler) at the end of August 2019, taking a leap forward. Subsequently, the Ark programming system has successively realized the open source of compilers, engines, and debuggers, supports Java and C languages, and plans to support JavaScript in the future.
Huawei emphasized that the goal of the Ark project is to build a MapleIR-based cross-language programming environment to achieve cross-language global analysis and optimization.
