Hades 2 is probably one of the most anticipated games of this year 2024. And to honor what is now a franchise, the developers intend to put all the chances on their side… and thus need the players.

Future GOTY 2024?
In 2020, Supergiant Games created a surprise with Hades, a roguelite where we played Zagreus, himself son of Hades and determined to escape the Underworld. This life-saving action game in isometric view has enjoyed immense critical success for its qualities of gameplay, replayability, scripting and even artistic direction: in short, a multi-awarded international hit, having received a nice 18/20 in our columns. Moreover, we also awarded it the title of GOTY 2020 in our ranking of the best games of the year.
Suffice to say that there is reason to be boiling hot when it comes to its sequel, soberly and effectively named Hades II : this time, it is Melinoë, Zagreus' sister, who will be the heroine of this new eagerly awaited adventure. She will use her many powers through a maze of enemies with increasing difficulty, in order to free her father from the Titan Cronos.
A technical test announced
Scheduled for this year, Hades II is in the midst of a fine-tuning phase and to do this, the studio needs its community: a technical test has just been confirmed. This will allow Supergiant Games to have initial feedback for fix bugs and optimize the experience at best in view of the exit.
For the moment, we do not know the exact content of this test portion, but it will only concern the introduction to the adventure. As for its activation time, it will be offered between a week and a month, according to the official press release. At any rate, you will have to be drawn at random and first register via this Steam page (yes, it's only on PC), by clicking on “Request access”. Several waves will be organized: you just have to hope to be part of it.
Also know that the save will not be able to transfer into the full gamewhich will be released on an as yet undetermined date and with early access.
