Does Stellar Blade have NG+?
Yes, Stellar Blade does have a New Game +. As you might expect, the latter appears when you complete the game's main story.
In addition to having News Game Plus at the end of the game, you will also unlock a new difficulty level, namely “Hard” mode. The latter makes the Naytibas much more powerful, notably with an increase in their life points. Perfect dodges, as well as parries, will be much more complex to place, so you will need to earn additional CP to invest points into your skill trees.
What are the changes linked to NG+?
NG+ will propel you back to the very beginning of Stellar Bladenamely in Eidos 7. EVE and Adam will relive the start of their adventure on Earth, but with some differences.
You will keep all of your progress, except for quests.. On the other hand, resources such as cores will be available again so that you have the possibility of obtaining the trophy which requires you to improve your beta and life gauge as much as possible.
On the other hand, if you continue your New Game + with normal difficulty, expect to roll over your opponents. In addition to obtaining new skill improvements, new equipment and exospines will be made available to you: they are modeled on the difficulty of Naytibas in Hard mode, therefore will be of better quality.
Why play a new game on Stellar Blade?
If your mission is to platinum Stellar Blade, you will need to play a new game. Since 100% requires obtaining all the endings in the game, restarting the game will be an inevitable thing to unlock them all.
In addition, the NG+ will allow you to go in search of the few documents that may have escaped you during your first adventure. This will then be your chance to get another trophy ; the one that asks you to collect all 200 documents in the game.
Finally, starting a new game will also allow you to get your hands on new outfits for EVE, Adam and Lily. Some will be automatically given to you upon completing your first playthrough, while others will need to be found throughout Eidos 7, the Wasteland, and the Great Desert.
Clearly, the NG+ is especially useful for plating Stellar Blade, but does not bring any particular added value to the basic experience. So, if your desire is to just finish the game, know that starting a new game is completely useless, unless you are hungry for a challenge.
