Since its release in 2016, it has evolved “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” a real action RPG long-running hit. In the following years, developer studio Dimps and publisher Bandai Namco supported the title with free and paid additional content. With the “Future Saga” Those responsible have now announced the start of a new DLC series, the first chapter of which will soon appear in stores.

As usual, you can watch the teaser trailer for the upcoming expansion, which is just over two minutes long, further down in the article.

Demon Fu continues to intervene in the passage of time

“For the first time since the release of the original game, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will look into the future and usher in a new era,” promise the makers of the action role-playing game. Demon Fu, who has repeatedly made brief appearances in the previous story DLCs, is once again responsible for the coming events. Now it seems Super Villain Energy to have aroused his interest and to experiment with it.

In the teaser trailer for the “Future Saga” DLC we can already see the first test subjects of the curious demon. In an alternate timeline, villain receives Goku Black a decent power boost thanks to the Super Villain Energy. Towards the end of the video, however, it seems Vegeta being under the control of evil energy, leading to a long-awaited divine rematch between him and our main character Son Goku.

Do you want to dish it out in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2? The Justice Pack 2 DLC includes Gohan's new form:

Who is Demon Fu? He is the son of the two Dragon Ball Xenoverse villains Mira and Towa, who, like his mother, is first and foremost a scientist. As part of his experiments, he repeatedly intervenes in the passage of time and thus calls the Time Patrol around Future Trunks onto the scene. In addition, Demon Fu has played a central role in the past few years, especially in the story of the promotional anime “Super Dragon Ball Heroes”.

“Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam). Versions for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are scheduled to go on sale on May 24, 2024.
