Amazon Games is currently working with Crystal Dynamics on a new Tomb Raider. The game is developed using Unreal Engine 5. There was no further information beyond that – until now.
Because the account recently published V Scooperwho has already posted information about upcoming games and films in the past, shared some details about the upcoming Tomb Raider title on the short message service X. From what V Scooper has to say, it sounds like Tomb Raider 2024 will take the same path as Far Cry.

Location: According to the information from V Scooper, the new Tomb Raider will be set in India. It wouldn't be Lara Croft's first trip to the subcontinent. At the beginning of Tomb Raider III we travel to India with the archaeologist and look for the Infada Stone there.
Size of the map: The new Tomb Raider title will have an open world. However, there is still no concrete information about the size and actual extent of the game world. Lara Croft should be able to move around the map using a motorcycle and a parachute, among other things. The previous title, Rise of the Tomb Raider, already contained large map sections – and the title was also developed by Crystal Dynamics in 2016.
