Film and series adaptations of Nekki's Gun Fu action game are in the works

“Spine” goes to Hollywood even though the Gun Fu action game hasn't even been released yet! However, the makers already seem to be convinced of the quality of their game and want to get film adaptations off the ground.

Nikke CEO Dmitry Terekhin is already excited about the opportunity to work with Story Kitchen: “We believe that truly great stories always stand out, and the 'Spine' universe will captivate audiences across all media.”

By the way, developer and publisher Nikke already has big plans for “Spine”, because the brand is to be expanded into a multimedia franchise. In addition to the video game, film adaptations as well as a board game, comics and merchandise items are also planned. Story Kitchen was founded in 2022 by Mike Goldberg and Dmitri Johnson, who co-produced the video game adaptation “Sonic the Hedgehog”.
