This was recently officially announced and, among other things, should give us a reunion with the… iconic death claws grant.

In addition, new content and features are being created for “Fallout Shelter” and the multiplayer title “Fallout 76”. Interestingly, Howard also hinted at two unannounced projects. One could be “Fallout 5,” but that’s still a few years away is a long time coming.

Howard on the future of Fallout

“We’re looking at what we can do with it [Fallout]franchise, and then we ask ourselves whether we still have a good feeling about it. I can't reveal it exactly now. “But that’s our plan for Fallout as a franchise,” Howard added. “When is the second season coming? What are we doing in the mobile market?”

“What are we doing in Fallout 76?” Howard added, then hinted at two unannounced Fallout projects. “How do we approach this matter? What do we do with this other thing? And when will these be implemented? And again, if I could snap my fingers and have them all done and ready, I would.”

“But the most important thing is: How can we deliver these with a high level of quality? That’s always the most important thing.”

The output should be increased

Another topic that Howard discussed is the fact that the games from Bethesda Softworks or Bethesda Game Studios always take several years to arrive. According to Howard, those responsible are looking for ways to bring games to market more quickly.

“They take a really long time, and so I think one of the things we're focused on here is obviously making sure they're of the highest quality, but also finding ways to increase our output,” he said .

“Because we don’t want to wait that long, right? “It’s never our plan, but we want to make sure we do it right,” says Howard.

Howard is also open to spin-offs like “Fallout: New Vegas,” which are created by external partners or studios. However, Bethesda Softworks has nothing to announce in this regard.

“I would say we’ve always had these conversations,” Howard concluded.
