A galaxy of new features “coming soon” to Starfield

It's now been eight months since Starfield was released on PC and Xbox Series. During this time, the game has mainly received more or less extensive patches aimed mainly at correcting bugs. Constellation explorers are still waiting for the many new features promised by Bethesda. We can notably cite new means of transport, new functionalities or even the Shattered Steel extension. Fortunately, modders have been busy filling any black holes left by the studio.

The indescribable Todd Howard wanted to reassure players on this point during his last interview with IGN. “ We are working hard on Starfield. So we have some very good news that will be announced soon. There's a lot going on in this galaxy “, he indicated. As for the content of said good news to come, the mystery remains for the moment. We will therefore have to wait for an official press release from Bethesda to find out more, presumably very soon.

Bethesda is very busy at the moment

In addition to a little tease about Starfield, Todd Howard mentioned the many other projects underway at Bethesda. On a smaller scale, Fallout 76 continues on its merry way. The title also experienced an explosion in its player count after the release of the series on Prime Video. The next game at the heart of the studio's attention, however, is obviously The Elder Scrolls 6. This extremely anticipated opus entered full production last year. It should also, according to the developers, amply meet fans' expectations.

After the sixth installment of The Elder Scrolls saga, in the still very distant future, Fallout 5 is quietly biding its time in its Vault. It is therefore not time to release a sequel to Starfield. The galaxy may not be big enough to support another RPG of this scale.
