Diablo IV: Season 4 “Loot Revitalized” will begin on May 14 – News

Season 4 is ultimately much more than a season update. Contrary to updates previous seasonal ones, which only concerned those who wanted to explore Blizzard's new offerings for each season, Loot Reborn (you'll excuse me for not being able to write “Reenergized Booty” without having to blow heavily through my nose), will affect the entirety of the Eternal Realm. Bli-Bli is therefore doing a major spring cleaning and putting its itemization in order for all players. On the other hand, season 4 will not have a theme strictly speaking (a unique elixir and the quests for the Iron Wolves are very meager). More than a season, it's rather a very significant patch that is coming.

Where is Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred? Where is he?

In its official communication, Blizzard reportshalf a bible of updates of all kinds, the main goal of which is to rebalance loot management. Without using the term “Loot Filter”, this is indeed what the game is tending towards. Fewer items to collect everywhere and all the time, but better quality elements. “Quality over Quantity” the developers informed us during the Campfire Cat from last March: Blizzard seems to have kept its commitments. A philosophy that will apply to weapons and armor pieces, but also to the modifiers that can be applied to them. The Affixes will be fewer in number, but more efficient, in addition, we will be able to count on Legendary Affixes. The forging system has been redesigned to make it both more efficient and more understandable in its mechanics. The goal is to allow players to create unique weapons/armor that they can attach to, instead of collecting and reselling tons of equipment all the time.

From now on, Infernal Waves will be available from world levels 1 and 2 (a system modeled on the Blood Harvests of the Blood Season). However, there is no point fooling yourself: the best loot items will only be obtainable in world levels 3 and 4. In order to continue to stimulate players eager for a fight, the content endgame will be enriched with a new challenge called “The Pit“(The Pit), accessible at world level 4. Andarielle will join the Pack, and can be summoned via the Tormented Echoes, with a small level 200 as a bonus.

Loot Reborn will be available from May 14 at 7 p.m. and will offer 90 reward thresholds (28 free levels and 62 levels for owners of the season pass). Finally, please note that the development team will release a live dedicated to season 4 on Twitch and YouTube on May 2. This release will be followed by the publication of a full and official update note, which will be available here.
