Like every month, EA is preparing to announce the name of the Player of the Month (April POTM) of La Liga for the FUT mode of EA FC 24. To do so, the league is offering fans the opportunity to vote for the one of the many players pre-selected by the publisher. The fan vote counts towards part of the final result. The winning player will obtain a special card (receiving a boost) available via a DCE for one month.

The list of players selected for the La Liga POTM
For the month of April, EA has selected five players for this trophy. Among the players listed, there are some solid options. So, Vinicius Jr seems to be the better card from a Meta point of view. The Brazilian already has a POTM since he won the trophy in March. A 92 version but with a lower price could be a sought-after option at this stage of the game. However, we are wary with EA who could once again give us a DCE that is much too expensive while the TOTS have started to arrive. Apart from the Real Madrid player, Isco seems to be the best placed to get the trophy. The veteran has been impressive this season and deserves a POTM. However, it will need a very big boost compared to its Versus cards, to make it a Meta option at this stage of the game.
Same situation for the other other nominees who will probably not be interesting from a Meta point of view given their base card.

The final result will be revealed next week (probably Thursday, May 2) and a Team Building Challenge (DCE) will be set up afterwards to obtain a special POTM card for the winner. POTM and investment on FUT
La Liga SBCs are generally inexpensive although many players invest in these challenges. Indeed, it is recommended to buy player cards from major clubs like Real Madrid or FC Barcelona as regularly as possible in order to sell them on the day the DCE is released if one of their players is a favorite.
