Dragon’s Dogma 2 Receives Major Update to Fix Numerous Bugs

Dragon's Dogma 2 has met with real commercial success with already several million sales under the counter, but Capcom still has work to refine his Action RPG. The Japanese studio has already launched patches to improve performance and fix bugs, but it is not finished.

Today, Capcom launches a new update for Dragon's Dogma 2which once again corrects technical problems, but above all improves the behavior of the Pions, the NPCs accompanying the players during the adventure. here is the changelog complete :

  • Reduced the frequency of pawns being infected with Draconic Plague and adjusted the signs of infection to make them more apparent.
      • For example, the eyes will shine more if there is an infection.
  • Added an option to zoom in on the faces of the Insurgent and pawns on the Status screen, in shops, etc.
  • Fixed issues and implemented adjustments related to the minimap.
      • Treasure chests whose contents have already been collected will disappear from the mini-map.
  • Adjustments to the behavior of pawns and their lines of dialogue.
      • Fixed an issue sometimes preventing the player from tapping a pawn's hand.
      • Fixed an issue where pawns would not start guiding the player after offering to do so.
      • Reduced the probability of pawns falling from cliffs.
      • Reduced the frequency of some pawn conversations.
      • Improved some pawn conversations to be more situational.
      • Fixed an issue where pawns would stop talking outside of combat.
      • Fixed an issue where the main pawn would borrow lines of dialogue from the support pawns.
      • Increased the willingness of pawns to come to the aid of the Insurgent if he orders them to do so while he is held by an enemy.
      • Reduced the frequency with which pawns in the wild offer the player recruitment.
  • Fixed an issue where Escort Missions were sometimes considered failed when the player accessed the Character Creation menu or during other special situations.
  • Fixed an issue where the player could become imprisoned while fighting monsters in town.
  • Fixed in-game crashes and freezes in certain specific situations.
  • Fixed various bugs.
