The Master Careers give the Awakened access to high-level abilities and the gameplay has been expanded to include more action elements against various enemies.

The Warmaster relies on all weapons

By using different weapons, the warmaster in “Dragon's Dogma 2” can react flexibly to different situations and create combinations that go beyond the usual limits.

Due to his lower base stats, it is necessary for the Warmaster to utilize the situational strengths of different weapon types in order to keep pace with other careers that have specialized strengths.

A new threat emerges

Additionally, the video for “Dragon's Dogma 2” reveals a mysterious threat that affects the loyal vassals.

According to Capcom, the Dragon Plague is a contagious disease that is transmitted by vassals while traveling between worlds. Instead of becoming weaker, diseased vassals perform remarkably and display strikingly bold speech and behavior.

“When the symptoms of the Dragon Plague reach a terminal stage, it is popularly believed that devastating disasters will occur, but the veracity of these claims is unclear,” Capcom said.

The publisher also discussed another element of “Dragon's Dogma 2”. During their travels, players will encounter career masters who have complete mastery of their chosen career.

By developing a closer relationship with a Career Master and gaining their approval, players can either gain access to their specific career path or be given special books containing high-level skills – the “Lessons of the Master”.
