The popular shooter “Helldivers 2” from Arrowhead Game Studios is regularly updated with new content. Data miners often dig up information about unpublished content for the game from the data weeks before implementation and delight the community with their finds.

However, players should not rely too much on data miners, Arrowhead developer Evil-Bosse said. Just because the code for content that has not yet been released was in the game data, it would not mean that it would actually come to “Helldivers 2”.

Data miners often find content before it is released

“I don’t watch stuff from dataminers and I would avoid falling in love with them,” Arrowhead developer Evil-Bosse wrote to a fan on the Discord server about “Helldivers 2.” “Some are ancient remnants, some are ancient remnants, some are things that will appear in the game.”

The developer was referring to an article from a player who spoke about the armor recently discovered by dataminers. Because possible new editions of the basic armor from “Helldivers 2” were found in the data.

Data mining predicted upcoming content

Through data mining, players have discovered unreleased weapons and armor pieces in the past. New gameplay features were also found, such as EXO-45 PATRIOT exosuit. About the weapons that come with the last Premium War Bond When it came to “Helldivers 2”, discussions were already underway around a month before implementation.

Recently, references to vehicles in the game were repeatedly found in the data. These seem to be quite advanced in development, so these could potentially appear at some point. However, other, unfinished code fragments have also been found, including new stratagems that could be discarded ideas.
