If The Last of Us series was the “special video game” hit for January 2023, for early 2024, this prize undeniably goes to Amazon's Fallout. Released on April 10 on Prime Video, the TV show managed to find its own tone while adapting, in a pretty crazy way, the universe of Bethesda's RPG. As a result, the critics are over the moon (93% of the press on Rotten Tomatoes) and the figures are there, with 65 million spectators in 16 days. Suffice it to say that Season 2, already made official, will be awaited. We don't know when it's going to happen, so we might as well look at other things.

A critically acclaimed series

Silo is therefore a sort of giant closed door where everyone wonders what is going on outside! A starting pitch that is certainly quite classic, but well held thanks to writing that is worth the detour. The series is also the adaptation of the eponymous novel by Hugh Howey, which was very successful in the United States.. As for the television show, it's Graham Yost – to whom we owe several episodes of Band of Brothers – who is in charge, with on screen (in particular) Rebecca Ferguson, who plays Paul Atréides' mother in the recent “Dune” by Denis Villeneuve. All in all, it's a sure bet rated 88% on Rotten Tomatoes. The first season has 10 episodes of approximately 45 minutes each. As for Season 2, its filming has been completed and everything should be released at the end of 2024 to the beginning of 2025.
