A new leak just made the bots a lot scarier.

It's the most disturbing Helldivers 2 leak yet – and fodder for in-game propaganda to fire up the players in the fight against the Automatons: Apparently the bots throw organic material into large blenders and make fuel out of it. Could these be fallen soldiers? And it might even get worse!
The leaks refer to findings in the game files and sound credible, so far such finds have usually been confirmed later. However, you should still treat it with due caution until the developers officially announce the new features. After all, something can always change or content can be canceled again.
New mission objective: The Blenders
The objects are supposed to be future mission objectives that the players have to conquer and eliminate. Here on Reddit you can see a simple animation of the 3D model, a screenshot and the future icon with which it will be marked on the map:

It is not yet known when the mixers will find their way into the game – and also not what exactly is in them. The red color doesn't bode well. Have the bots discovered recycling and are processing their fallen enemies into fuel? This explanation seems obvious, but some fans fantasize even further.
Creepy fan theory: Do the bots want to feed their creators?
Have the Automatons perhaps copied something from the Reapers from Mass Effect or the Warhammer 40K universe? Some Helldivers fans suspect that the bots use the organic material to reinforce themselves. Or that they actually serve powerful cyborgs who escaped after the events of the first game and to whom the bots want to offer the mixture as food.
Reddit user MrHerpDerp360 provides a hint that this might not be so far-fetched. He claims to have discovered that some bots hide fleshy organs under their armor. However, it could also be cables that are laid out somewhat strangely:

The community is now eagerly awaiting the appearance of the mixers and of course hopes to find answers to their pressing bot questions. If that doesn't cause any trouble with the Ministry of Truth!
According to the official lore, the Automatons are actually the “descendants” of the cyborgs fought in the first Helldivers. They want to defeat Super Earth and save their creators, who live enslaved on Cyberstan. Supposedly they no longer need organic material to create more troops – supposedly.
