Unveiled by Spitfire Interactive and Daedalic Entertainment in February 2023, Capes was originally expected for last year. But the turn-based strategy game will finally see the light of day on May 29. The title will then be available on PC via Steambut also on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
Capes takes place in King City, a city where the super villains have won. For nearly 20 years, they have worked to create a dystopian city where simply developing superpowers is considered a crime. But if no one has managed to stop them until now, your ability to create a team of heroes could be a game changer.
To design your perfect team, you can recruit heroes who all offer unique abilities. Of course, different powers also mean different playstyles and you will therefore have to learn to master each talent to get the most out of it.

But the powers will be nothing without a foolproof strategy. The turn-based combat of Capes will require you to position your heroes as best as possible or risk putting them themselves in danger. Very important choices, especially since you will only have 4 heroes for each mission to complete.
