Brilliant successor is celebrated on Steam

There really is no shortage of first-class rogue-lites. But nothing has ever been as popular with fans and critics as the celebrated Hades: three years ago, developer Supergiant Games completed the early access phase, meaning Hades was officially completed – and was promptly showered with top ratings and awards. Since then, fans have been patiently waiting for Supergiant's next big game, which surprisingly turned out to be Hades 2. But now the wait is over, because there is great news: Hades 2 has surprisingly started early access!

The sequel is here! But is it worth buying now?

Just like the first part, Hades 2 initially starts as unfinished early access version, which gets more and more content as development progresses. What is Hades 2 about?

In Hades 2 you no longer play Zagreus, but the immortal princess Melinoe, who has to fight her way through the Greek world of legends once again, this time to stop the Titan Kronos. Just like in the first part, you will meet all sorts of gods who will support you with spells and powerful upgrades. In addition to grippy action, Hades 2 also wants to score points with a sophisticated, extensive story that unfolds through countless dialogues (set to English).

But Hades 2 also brings some new mechanics and upgrade systems with which Melinoe becomes stronger over time. The developers emphasize that Hades 2 is not only aimed at professionals, Beginners should also have the chance, all content and the end of the story.
