On the one hand, the insider wanted to find out that several “Battlefield” titles are currently being developed in parallel.

He also provided us with unconfirmed details about the new main branch. According to Henderson, we can look forward to, among other things, matches with up to 64 players. There was also talk of a new destruction system and a four-class system that would return to the roots of the series.

It was also said that the new “Battlefield” will be accompanied by a battle royal shooter, just like “Call of Duty”. Ripple Effect is said to be responsible for the development. The team is supported in the implementation by Byron Beede, who previously worked on live service experiences for “Call of Duty”.

Unfortunately, it is still unclear when EA will accept the waiting community and officially reveal the next “Battlefield” projects.
