Summary of all our guides on Dragon's Dogma 2

Class Masters… What are they for?

Masters are NPCs who hold important knowledge about a specific class. This knowledge is embodied in a skill that no other can surpass.

A special tome is required to learn the masters' secret skills, and only these experts have them. So, if you want to perfect your art in combat, you will have to go in search of them to acquire them, but not only that… You will also have to obtain their recognition so that they can deliver their secrets to you.

While some masters will introduce themselves to you naturally, a bit like the master Archer-Mage, others will be much more discreet and will wait until you have proven yourself before revealing all their secrets to you.

Who is the Master Sorcerer in Dragon's Dogma 2?

The master Sorcerer is called Myrddin, he is in his home at the Stopover Village in the Vermund region..

To meet him, you will have to dress to the nines: Myrdinn hates people who don't have a minimum of refinement, so reuse the courtier outfit you wore for the masked ball before going to meet him. By going in front of his home, he will invite you to enter.

By speaking to him, he will immediately understand the reason for your visit and will inform you of the prerequisites to access his magic, and therefore his secret skill. The quest “The Sorcerer's Esteem” will then activate in your journal.

Here, the mission is very simple: you will have to find different grimoires, then give them to Myrdinn. These works have nothing to do with those you have been able to find until now. These are rare grimoires of which very few copies exist.

Below you will find the location of each of the grimoires needed to complete Myrdinn's quest. Note that only three grimoires are needed to obtain the secret skill “Maelstrom”.

  • Let there be light : You will find this grimoire in Myrdinn's residence, upstairs.

Before giving the grimoires to Myrdinn, first go and make counterfeits with Ibrahim, at the Stopover Village. These grimoires are needed for another mission, so make sure to give the false grimoires to Myrdinn so as not to be stuck in the rest of the events.
