XDefiant: Update: Major server test officially announced

XDefiant is a very promising online shooter, but it kept getting delayed. Now the next server test session should pave the way for the release.

The release of XDefiant from Ubisoft is not yet under the best stars. Far from reports of a toxic workplace culture among the responsible development team, the long-scheduled release has been repeatedly delayed, most recently just a few weeks ago. Ubisoft first wants to solve the remaining problems and ensure a smooth start and has therefore decided to do so.

It was only on the occasion of the last postponement of the publication that at least another test run was promised in advance – and according to a new report, that is now imminent. This applies at least if the previous internal test was completed without any major problems.

Contrary to previous plans, this major server test of the game will last longer than just 12 hours, as had been communicated so far.
