What time and platform are The Acolyte, the new Star Wars series, streaming on?

When comes out The Acolyte on Disney+?

The first episode of The Acolyte will be available in France from June 5, 2024 on Disney+. It will take one episode per week, but two episodes are planned from the big day. This is a usual practice for this SVOD platform. As for the total number of episodes, it will be eight. It remains to be seen if there will be other seasons afterwards.

By the way, what does The Acolyte ?

Since the start of the series Star Wars on Disney+, The Acolyte is the first whose synopsis is poorly identified, with characters unknown to the battalion. For the narrative context, we know that the events will take place during the period of the High Republic, that is to say long, long before The Phantom Menace — a true golden age for the Jedi Order.

But, precisely, this golden age will be disrupted by strange crimes which seem to come from a resurgence of the dark side… which is why, moreover, we see a strange Sith in the trailer. A Jedi Master will have to lead the investigation.

The next series Star Wars to wait, after The Acolytewill be Skeleton Crew. No date has been announced, but we should of course expect it by the end of the year. And Jude Law will be Jedi Master.
