Now that we have clarified how you can take part in the competition, we would like to briefly explain to you what the building game is actually about and why we started the article with a hiking day story.

In Laysara you build upwards. And not in the form of high-rise buildings on freshly leveled land, but on mountains. Your tribe has been driven out of the plains, which is why you have to venture into uneven areas to build new settlements.

Depending on the mountain, you will have to deal with different problems. How do you protect yourself from avalanches? How do you build transport routes without having to climb up and down the whole mountain every time? These are all problems that you may not be familiar with from other city building simulations.

Colleague Reiner Hauser has already played with Laysara and reveals in his early access test how well the concept works:

There are currently three biomes and a sandbox mode with missions. A campaign will also be introduced at the end of early access. For the moment, the testers didn't miss Reiner at all.

Curious about Laysara? Then scroll up again and take part in our competition!
