The new PS5 and PS4 games from PS Plus Extra & Premium are available. Between popular titles and 100% new releases, it's a month more surprising than the others.
Like every month, Sony renews the list of games “free” with its PlayStation Plus subscriptions. For the basic formula, subscribers are entitled to three completely different software with Immortals of Aveum at the head of the gondola. An imperfect FPS but one that goes off the beaten track for its mix between a traditional first-person action game, like Call of Duty, and an experience very reminiscent of Marvel's Doctor Strange. Find out if you are inclined to forgive faults. This selection also adds the RTS Minecraft Legends to the catalog, as well as the rogue-like Skul The Hero Slayer. And now here are the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for April 2024.

April 2024 PS Plus Extra games available on PS5 and PS4
The PS Plus Extra & Premium of March 2024 was heavy! Between Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, Resident Evil 3, Blood Bowl 3, Marvel's Midnight Suns, LEGO DC Supervillains or NBA 2K24, subscribers have had great things to explore. Of course, all the games mentioned have their imperfections, but at least it's not from the back catalog. This will be a little less the case this month, but you should still find what you need if you're not entirely focused on AAA. This category, however, will be represented by The Crew 2. Ubisoft's open-world racing game which offers you the opportunity to cross the United States aboard land, water and air vehicles.
If you like the LEGO game series, the PS Plus Extra from April 2024 highlights two other apps. On one side the video game adaptation of the film Ninjago, and on the other, LEGO Marvel's Avengers. A title with higher sympathetic capital than the super heroic adventure of Crystal Dynamics which turned out to be a nice cold shower. But if PlayStation Plus Extra is so special this month, it’s because it will host two (or almost) day one releases. The very attractive Tales of Kenzera ZAU will be included in the April 2024 PS Plus Extra, from its launch on April 23. This is a metroidvania with a very slick and colorful artistic direction. The second day one release will be the more atypical Animal Well, but for now, you will have to wait until May 9, 2024 to get your hands on it.

PlayStation Plus Premium games for April 2024
The PS Plus Extra for April 2024 is generous and somewhat compensates for the shortage of PlayStation Plus Premium games for April 2024. In fact, subscribers will only be entitled to two classics at this time. And contrary to what leaks have suggested, there will be no MediEvil. So what can players expect? Two other licenses that are just as iconic, and even much more iconic.

- Star Wars: Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire (original PlayStation version) | PS4, PS5
After Alone in the Dark Remake, you can dive back into the horror universe with The New Nightmare which already dates from 2001. In a radically different genre, you can fly to the stars with the full motion video (FMV) game Star Wars Rebel Assault 2 The Hidden Empire. They are both available with the April 2024 PS Plus Premium.
