The license more than doubled the number of its simultaneous players on Steam, while revenues from the mobile game Fallout Shelter increased fourfold. Enough to suggest to publishers that sometimes, to relaunch a license or sell its back catalog, it is not necessarily useful to finance a remake or a spin-off when it is possible to make a good TV series.
