The ratings for Rebel Moon Zack Snyder and Netflix certainly had completely different ideas. It was supposed to be a sci-fi universe, with the well-known director as one of the heads of the project. Again and again it had in advance Comparisons to Star Wars given that we have already taken up. But a look at Metacritic and Co. reveals that both films have stumbled in reviews to date. In this regard, how realistic is a continuation of the two films? Both Zack Snyder himself and the films provide an answer to this.
How does Rebel Moon Part 2 end?
Basically, the story of the first two films is completed around the protagonist Kora. Evil in the form of Admiral Atticus Noble can be defeated, but Snyder still has a little cliffhanger up his sleeve. This is how Kora finds out that Princess Issa is still alive. Kora had previously lived under the assumption that she had killed Issa years before.

Cliffhangers are all well and good, but it wouldn't be the first time that references to future projects in a film, book or video game go nowhere. This is where Zack Snyder comes into play again. He spoke to Forbes about the future of the brand on the release of Rebel Moon – Part 2: The Scar Maker.

Is Rebel Moon Part 3 coming?
“Regarding the story, we have already worked on a part 3” the filmmaker told Forbes. “We definitely know where we're headed – honestly, we've known for a while. So yeah, I'm up for doing more Rebel Moon movies – that would be fun.“
There is no official green light from Netflix yet. Screen Rant emphasizes that a sequel will depend on how the second part does in terms of numbers on the streaming platform.
Ultimately, only time will tell when and how we will see Rebel Moon again. Comic Book Movie recently reported that Part 2 is the lowest-rated film on Rotten Tomatoes of the director's career. Netflix itself at least has Snyder after the release of the first film honored on a small scale.
