Peace is a lie in the official trailer for the new Star Wars series

As a gift for Star Wars Day 2024, Lucasfilm is releasing the official trailer for “The Acolyte”. In it we get new insights into the upcoming series, whose story takes place 100 years before the events of the prequel trilogy.

On Star Wars Day 2024, Lucasfilm has the official trailer for the upcoming series “The Acolyte” published. In it we get a closer look at the hotly anticipated show that is coming our way the High Republic kidnapped. “The Acolyte” was created by Leslie Headland (“Matryoshka”), who also serves as showrunner of the “Star Wars” series. She is also an executive producer along with Simon Emanuel (“The Batman”), Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy (“Andor”), Jeff F. King (“The Umbrella Academy”) and Jason Micallef.

The main roles in the upcoming “Star Wars” series are played by Lee Jung-jae (“Squid Game”), Carrie-Anne Moss (“Matrix” series) and Amandla Stenberg (“The Hate U Give”). Other roles include Charlie Barnett (“You – You Will Love Me”), Rebecca Henderson (“Single Drunk Female”) and Dafne Keen (“Logan – The Wolverine”).

“The Acolyte” starts in this country on June 5, 2024 with two episodes exclusively on Disney+. The series consists of eight episodes in total.
