It's steaming again on Steam. Just in time for the weekend, there are a whole range of fresh discounts and special offers on Valve's sales platform. So that you can keep an overview and find the best bargains, we took a look around for you again this week – and found what you were looking for.

This weekend the focus on Steam is a well-known strategy game series: Total War. With its characteristic mix of turn-based world maps and gripping real-time battles, the series from Studio Creative Assembly is a real genre heavyweight.

It's good that you can get it particularly cheaply this weekend. Because the latest part, Pharaoh, is also on offer.

This Total War spin-off has never been cheaper than it is now. Although Pharaoh is not necessarily known among fans as the best part of the series, it is currently the newest title on the market.

As the name suggests, Take Pharaoh to ancient Egypt at the height of his power. But the signs point to a storm. The Pharaoh's rule is no longer absolute.

At the borders, the Hittite Empire and cruel sea peoples are preparing to plunder the land on the Nile and take control. You decide whether you want to return Egypt to its former greatness or wrest the crown from the Pharaoh.

Which titles are still discounted?

  • Total War: Three Kingdoms: The series spin-off from 2019 takes you to ancient China. In the time of the Three Kingdoms, it is up to you to unite the country. Price: 20 Euros.
  • A Total War Saga: Troy: Inspired by the heroes of Greek sagas, you will experience the Trojan War in this spin-off. Price: 25 euros.
  • Total War: Rome Remastered: Hailed by many fans as the best Total War installment of all time, Rome transports you to the Roman Empire at the height of its power. Price: 10 Euro.
  • Total War: Attila: In Attila you will experience the brutal campaigns of conquest of the legendary Hun King and his mounted hordes up close. Price: 9 euros.
  • Total War: Rome 2: The sequel to Rome brought an improved political system, expanded building chains, and slicker graphics for the campaign and battles. Price: 15 euro.
  • Total War: Shogun 2: In the 16th century, Japan was divided. In order to unite the many warring principalities under your rule, you have only one goal: become shogun. Price: 6 euros.
  • Total War: Napoleon: As France, Great Britain or Spain you can live through the era of the Napoleonic Wars and expand your empire. Price: 5 euros.
  • Total War: Empire: There was once a time when the British Empire spanned almost a third of the world. Rule the seas, control the land and conquer the entire world! Price: 5 euros.
  • Total War: Medieval 2: Which strategy fan doesn't dream of the Middle Ages at night? As a ruler, you command huge armies from the Middle East to America. Price: 5 euros.

Two more little tips: In addition to the large offshoots of the series mentioned above, there are also some smaller spin-offs with the name as part of it A Total War Saga on sale, including Fall of the Samurai. However, these are currently being criticized by fans because of their limited content and changes in pricing policy.

Unfortunately, the three Warhammer offshoots of the Total War series are not included in the saleincluding the excellent Total War: Warhammer 2.
