Many fans of “Stellar Blade” have suspected that protagonist Eve is based on South Korean model Shin Jae-Eun. Now game director Hyung-Tae Kim confirmed this view.

“Yes, the character of Eve is based on the model Shin Jae-eun. We thought her body shape would be a good reference for the character we were going for. But the face was originally created in-house – it’s just the model’s body that we scanned for the game,” explains the developer.

Only the body is based on the 33-year-old model. Her face was not scanned.

Why Shift Up chose Jae-eun? According to Kim, the team simply wanted to find “the most attractive body” for the players – although that was a matter of opinion. Apparently they succeeded quite well.

Some have accused the protagonist of unrealistic proportions. As you can see, Eve's body also exists in real life. The following video shows your model in the studio.

Plenty of outfits for the main character

You can admire the protagonist in a variety of costumes. As the game director announced, there are 20 to 30 outfits to choose from in the game. There are also a few costumes for Adam and Lily. So you can dress the main characters according to your taste.

The good news is: You don’t have to spend any money on any of them. All outfits can be unlocked by playing. Some you get after completing a quest, others you can buy in shops – with virtual currency.

With Eve you can roam through a post-apocalyptic world from April 26th this year. Work with the survivors and fight the Naytibas to save the planet.

Stellar Blade is coming exclusively to PS5. For the Standard Edition you pay a price of 79.99 euros.
