The Sims 5: New Game Details Leaked, Exciting News for Fans

The Sims 5, which is currently in alpha phase, is still the victim of a leak. The long-awaited open world, absent from the previous game, is finally confirmed with some additional information.

The Sims 4 is still popular and continues to evolve through updates. One of the areas for improvement at the moment is to work for more inclusiveness, by expanding the customization options. In addition to the Vitiligo skin, the game will have a wider range of hair colors and hairstyle types, in April and July respectively. But in the shadows, Maxis is also working on The Sims 5 with the help of the community. Which still causes leaks.

The Sims 5 open world and map leaked

The Sims 5 doesn't have a release window, but it has been confirmed that it will be free on PC and mobile upon launch. And for the moment, players are not really reassured and are afraid that a myriad of microtransactions will ruin their experience. Will this be the case? EA has not announced anything to date. This new game promises in any case to dust off the cult license with several changes. Players will be able to stay in apartments, and decorate them from A to Z with more in-depth customization. The size, colors, materials or textures of furniture can be customized in The Sims 5.

The title will be playable solo… but also via multiplayer, details of which are difficult to obtain at the moment. The entire structure of The Sims 5 will also be different and will yield to the open world, like the third episode. And that's the whole point of the latest leak on the software. An Internet user has in fact shared stolen images which reveal a map, as well as photos of an urban area with a river. According to the information retrieved by the latter, it would seem that the alpha version currently being tested would not encounter any particular problems in terms of performance. The experience would be as smooth on PC as mobile. “Performance is solid and doesn't shake, even when zoomed out completely” he said (via InsiderGaming).

The other important information is that there would be no fast travel mechanic. Movement in this open world would be done in the classic way, in real time. On the other hand, this may have changed since according to him, the version from which the images came is more than a year old. A period of time long enough to let the teams review a whole bunch of things following the feedback.
