The entire “Fallout” universe is currently experiencing huge hype. This was sparked by the Amazon series and not least affects video games. But tabletop fans have also long since found what they are looking for. However, the new hype means that buyers of “Fallout: Wasteland Warfare” have to dig deeper into their pockets. We're introducing the game again.
Next to the popular Prime series and the underlying games, there are analogous employment opportunities with a “Fallout” setting. This includes the miniatures game “Fallout: Wasteland Warfare,” which was released a few years ago.

Production of the tabletop adaptation started in 2018 under the responsibility of Modiphius Entertainment. At that time, the starter set for two players was introduced and was intended to shorten the waiting time for fans for the release of “Fallout 76”. The online game is growing thanks to the series boost User numbers.
The tabletop set contains twelve unpainted figures, 100 item cards, 24 action cards, 10 dice and detailed instructions. So far the game is only available in English. A German implementation has not yet appeared. It is an officially licensed product and is published in collaboration with Bethesda.
The playing time of the starter set is officially 60 to 120 minutes and in 2018 around 60 euros were charged. Due to the current success of the franchise, the boxes are sold out in many places or are available for well over 100 euros – for example on Amazon*.
Extensions can be used for two games
Since the release of Fallout: Wasteland Warfare, a number of expansions have been released for the set. This includes almost every enemy and NPC that appears in one of the “Fallout” games. In addition to the actual miniatures, there are various terrain objects that players can use to build their own playing field.

All boxes are also allowed for “Fallout: Factions” which is also published by Modiphius Entertainment. The board game uses slightly different rules and is scheduled to go on sale in July 2024. Here, however, the starter set will cost around 100 euros.

Hollywood Heroes Pack available from May
After the success of the Prime series, its main characters were also introduced for the tabletop adaptations. The Fallout: Miniatures – Hollywood Heroes Box is scheduled to appear in May 2024 and will cost 35.85 euros. Included are: Lucy from Vault 33, the Ghoul, Maximus, CX404, three 30mm bases and one 40mm base.
