These delivered us on the official PlayStation blog a comprehensive update to the PC version of “Ghost of Tsushima”, which reveals several exciting details. On the one hand, Nixxes Software announced that “Ghost of Tsushima” on the PC will support the crossplay feature.

While the campaign is a purely single-player experience, you can team up with other players in Legends mode. Thanks to the crossplay feature, you can form groups with samurais on the PS4, PS5 and PC – voice chat included, of course.

The first PC title to feature the new PlayStation overlay

To access Legends Mode, you must connect to the PlayStation Network. Which brings us to an exciting innovation that you will have access to for the first time in the PC version of “Ghost of Tsushima”. We're talking about the brand new PlayStation overlay for the PC.

This feature will be available on Windows PCs and will include your friends list, your trophies, your settings and your profile. You can access the new PlayStation overlay either in the “Ghost of Tsushima” menu or in-game using the “Shift + F1” key combination.

Another innovation: In addition to the achievements on Steam and in the Epic Games Store, the PC version of “Ghost of Tsushima” offers the trophy support known from the PlayStation consoles.

Your system has to do that

To access features such as trophies, friends list and cross-play, you must log in with your existing PlayStation Network account or simply create a new one. However, as Nixxes Software points out, the use of the PlayStation overlay in both single player and Legends mode is purely optional.

In addition to the presentation of the new features, Nixxes Software revealed the system requirements for the PC port of “Ghost of Tsushima”.

Once again, the studio says it was about getting the title to run on as many systems as possible with appropriate performance. The attached overview tells you what your system has to do in order to handle “Ghost of Tsushima” in the respective graphics settings.

The PC version of “Ghost of Tsushima” will be released on May 16, 2024.
