In our grade comparison Stellar Blade We list tests, reviews, ratings or whatever from the following German online game magazines – regardless of the fact that some of them also publish print offers (aka magazines): CBS (Computer Bild Spiele), Eurogamer.de, GameStar.de , GamePro.de, PCGames.de (& Videogameszone.de) and, of course, GamersGlobal.de – whereby we politely place ourselves at the end of the review list. What is important to us: A rating can only ever be a rough description of the game quality – please read the respective test report before commenting on a grade that may be out of line.

v. 5 stars

While the exploration-friendly design of the levels and the fights remind me of an energetic version of Hidetaka Miyazaki's Soulslikes, the story, the female and powerful heroine and the melancholic falling into an apocalyptic world like games by Yoko Taro captivate me.

v. 100
I was actually expecting shallow B-movie entertainment and a bit of monster chopping. Then the action game completely captivated me. … Many quiet and thoughtful moments in the story resonate with me for a long time. At least when I come up for air. Of course, the action-packed fights also make up a lot of Stellar Blade's appeal.
GamePro82
v. 100

From the first time you enter the city of Xion, Stellar Blade noticeably picks up speed. The combat system gains depth and speed and the story also offers more than meets the eye at first glance. … Ultimately, Stellar Blade was neither a disappointment nor an absolute action milestone. For the former, the gameplay, the technology and the narrated universe are simply too good, but for the latter it lacks fine-tuning and, above all, its own ideas.

v.10

Although Stellar Blade loses comparisons to the masterpieces that make up its identity, that doesn't make it a bad choice: action fans will enjoy a fun combat system, respectable scope and nice things to do.

GamersGlobal8.5
v. 10
With each hour of play, I liked Stellar Blade more and more. Of course, this is also due to the spectacularly staged fights, which become more diverse with practically every learning point invested. But Stellar Blade also motivates me enormously to take everything I can with me… It reminds me a lot of how I was immersed in Assassin's Creed 2 back then. Because just like there, the mix of story and gameplay is right, the latter is lush but not oversized.
Average rating8.4*Last checked: April 26, 2024, 12:30 p.m

We calculate the average rating based on the 10 system, so a “75” corresponds to a 7.5. Of course, the scoring systems and philosophies differ in detail. If a magazine gives different ratings or grades depending on the platform, we use the highest for the average. If a test has now been published by a magazine that is marked as “Not tested”, we would be happy to receive the rating and link as a comment.
